Abstract

In the present work it has been my purpose to present a descriptive list of laboratory exercises in botany which is predictable and useable under the existing conditions of the average small high school of western Kansas. To be more specific these exercises may be used by a teacher without special training in botany, in a crowded curriculum, and with little laboratory equipment. Most of the apparatus needed may be improvised by the pupil, and the plants called for are common in any community in the western half of Kansas.
