Abstract
The paper contains the results of a study of a church related, treatment oriented, residential center for socially maladjusted male adolescents located at Dodge City, Kansas. The study involved an evaluation of educational, psychological, psychiatric, and sociological factors pertaining to 126 boys who had been served by the agency during the period 1960 through 1970. The study was conceived, designed, and implemented to relate to treatment theories and modalities appropriate to the residential treatment of adolescents with social maladjustment problems. It included the results of original research regarding the Dodge City program blended with concepts and ideas derived from the reading and analysis of published literature in the field.
