Abstract
Within this thesis and its' selected works the artist has been concerned with the concept of static movement and attempted to present this concept through the progression and repetition of light, line and planes. Emphasis has been placed on the use of light so as to implement actual and implied energy within the various forms. The purpose of this implied energy force is to present the concept of an inner life force bursting forth from a minimal form. The manuscript contains photographic slides not appended to this PDF.
