Abstract
At the present time, no measure nor instrument was available for measuring achievement in teaching English to Navajo non-English speaking children in beginner classrooms. The purpose of this project was to make picture tests to evaluate the achievement of the child’s English vocabulary after the words and sentence pattern structures had been presented and practiced for several weeks.
