Abstract

This study was specifically concerned with the academic, extra-curricular, and advisee-advisor programs at The Garden City Community Junior College, Garden City, Kansas. While many instruments have been devised to study differences between individuals by using personality ratings, intelligence tests, and interest inventories on a four-year college or university campus, fewer attempts have been made to study differences between individuals on a junior college campus. A junior college environment is a complex one, consisting of libraries, professors, administrators, laboratories, social events, organizations, curricula, counselors, and many other factors. This study will construct a model that will provide the image of the college in these areas of academic, extra-curricular, and advisee-advisor programs.
