Abstract
This study was to determine characteristics exhibited by a selected group of adolescent students whose intelligence test scores fell within the average range and whose Performance IQ on the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children was at least ten points higher than their Verbal IQ. These students are referred to by Wechsler as being "non-academically inclined”.
