Description

1950s Fort Hays State College. There are seven women and three men. Four women are wearing hats. The women are wearing long suits, skirts, blouses, and jackets. Two men are wearing suits, dress shirts, and ties. One man wears a dark button-up shirt and a light Harrington-style jacket. The table is eight people long. Spread around the perimeter of the table are eighteen scrapbooks. A large bouquet of homecoming mums sits on the left end of the table. On the back wall are four tall, narrow windows. Next to the windows is a mural with a saltbox building, five people in 19th-century clothing, and a horse pulling a two-wheeled buggy or carriage. The mural takes up half of the wall that can be seen. On the right-hand side of the room is a wooden glass-front cabinet. The floor is wood.
