Description

This black and white photograph features the 1952 stage actors performing a skit for Fort Hays Kansas State College’s 50th Anniversary. The man and woman are on a stage with the Old Fort Hays Blockhouse painted as the backdrop. The actor on the left is a man with a dark crew cut, holding a push dust mop, wearing a light-colored shirt and khakis, and looking at the other actor. The actress on the right is a woman with short, dark hair styled in a soft bob, sitting in a metal folding chair at a small, wooden desk with a manual typewriter, wearing a light dress and shoes with a dark ribbon bow tied at her waist, and looking up and reaching out with one hand to the other actor.
