Description
This black and white photograph features a skit titled “Basketball Ballet” performed at the 50th anniversary celebration for Fort Hays Kansas State College. Four men are performing on a stage. Each man is dressed in a basketball uniform consisting of a dark tank top with one light-colored stripe in the middle, light-colored shorts, dark knee-high socks with three lighter stripes across them, and light-colored high-top athletic shoes. The three men are huddled together in a circle in front of a depiction of a basketball hoop, with three of the four bent slightly at the waist. The front-most man has his back to the front of the stage and has one arm positioned on the back of the man to his left while the other pushes the man to his right. The man being pushed is the only one standing straight up and is looking off towards the right-most edge of the portable stage.
