Abstract
The purpose of this study is to gather factual material pertaining to the curriculum and personnel in the field of physical education for those schools with an enrollment of 500 students or more. This study is by no means perfect or all-conclusive, however, it does represent a broad cross section of all Kansas schools in this category. The study deals with the following phases of the physical education program. First, the required program; second, the intramural program; third, the interscholastic program; fourth, financing of physical education; and fifth, the duties, experience and training of the instructors of physical education.
