Abstract
The purpose of this study was to discover the desirable procedures for administering the work experience phase of the practical arts program in selected Kansas high schools. In investigating this problem, it seems desirable to obtain opinions from a panel of experts concerning the needs and objectives of work experience. In addition, it appeared essential that a careful study be made of the existing Kansas high schools containing work experience programs. Finally, by analyzing the reports of current practices and by comparing these practices with the recommendations of specialists in the field, a synthesis should be achieved.
