Abstract

The purpose of this study is a survey of direct welfare relief cases in Graham County, Kansas, including demographic information, case studies, histories, and other pertinent information. The following thesis is based upon a study of 120 direct welfare relief families of Graham County, Kansas. Before giving the case information and the conclusions reached the author has furnished the reader with a brief history of the county as a background for a fuller appreciation of the composite situation.
