Abstract

I have tried to create a marriage of subject matter and material which invites the viewer to investigate the layers of meaning and material. As an archaeologist would sift through the layers of evidence to understand the development of a culture, the viewer of this imagery is invited to sift through the strata of graphic and psychological elements to discover the message of the works.
