Abstract
Toxic shock has evolved from my experiments to break away from the more traditional flat rectangular painting format. This exhibition is the culmination of my attempts at a more personal expression of the concept of facades. I have chosen organic, geometric and architectural shapes as the base for collage materials. Representational imagery has virtually disappeared, except for a few drawings of female faces. The resulting collaged constructions have become modern altarpieces.
