Abstract
This thesis is a study of the early history of Decatur County, Kansas. It covers the period from its first settlement through present day. Towns in Decatur County include: Cedar Bluffs, Kalamazoo, Decatur, Lyle, Slab City, Shibboleth, Connersville, Blaine, Clayton, Jackson, Cleversburgh, Kanona, Allison, Traer, and Jennings.
