Abstract
The inspiration for my art is my fascination with water, whether it be the warm clear seas surrounding Cyprus, the synthetic chlorine water found in swimming pools, or the deep, murky, suffocating water of lake reservoirs. I am preoccupied with the human form and their interaction with the environments that they create to the exclusion of almost everything else. I disdain the use of my figures as a narrative device – they are meant to be enjoyed for what they are.
