Abstract
Response cost and, reinforcement-of-other-behavior treatments were compared as to their effectiveness in reducing the number of anti-social verbalizations used by teenagers in a group care home. The reinforcement of other behavior treatment reduced the frequency of anti-social verbalizations more quickly and to a slightly lower level than did the response-cost schedule. That effects on the target behavior as well as its more positive effect on other aspects of the behavior of group members made it appear to be the treatment of choice for reducing the anti-social verbalizations of adolescents in that selling.
