Abstract
My art is in part an attempt to go beyond what I consciously know to deal with an overall metaphor of the Universe as I feel it. I reject a completely rational approach when involved with the creative act as logic results only in what is known. My art deals with the unknown. My primary tool is intuition. Technique I consider necessary but hardly an end in itself. There is technique in art but technique does not imply art. Basically, I use whatever materials are financially accessible. If nothing else, my formal training period has demonstrated that there is for me a chance of doing something worth doing in art. The risks are extremely great but so are the possibilities.
