Abstract

It has been stated that perhaps no aspect of the Presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower has been so widely misunderstood as his role of legislative leader. Therefore, the purpose of the following study is to explore the methods used by President Eisenhower in conducting his relations with Congress in an attempt to discern his style of legislative leadership.
