Abstract
The recurring theme that can be seen in my work since starting my master's program is that of combining both wheel-thrown and handbuilt ceramic pieces. It was decided that this theme seemed to be an excellent thesis direction. But, so as not to find myself too limited, other contrasting materials such as wood, plexiglas and others might also be incorporated. Each material was to retain its own identity, but was to be used in combination in some form or other with clay.
