Abstract

The paintings that comprise this thesis represent an attempt by the artist to extract from the source of all images those that are significant in a personal sense. Each picture here is the result of a tenuous, momentary cooperation between the artist and the creative force which sustains all life. The crucial elements in the execution of each piece of work were an intuitive consciousness, the creative flow or energy, and technical facility.
