Abstract
Ciro Alegria trata los problemas de los indios en Sur America y por esto sus novelas estan clasificadas como indianistas. El autor conocia a fondo los problemas de los indios ya que nacit en la sierra peruana. Alegria solo escribit cuatro libros: La Serpiente de Oro, Los Perros Hambrientos, El Mundo es Ancho y Ajeno y Duelo de Caballeros. Estos cuatro libros son suficientes para ponerlo en lo mas alto de los escritores de hispano-america. [Ciro Alegria deals with the problems of the Indians in South America and for this reason his novels are classified as Indianist. The author knew in depth the problems of the Indians since he was born in the Peruvian mountains. Alegria only wrote four books: The Golden Serpent, The Hungry Dogs, The World is Wide and Foreign and Duel of Knights. These four books are enough to put him at the top of Latin American writers.]
