Abstract
The sculpture and jewelry in this portfolio are images; images with little physical reminiscence or analogy, representing only themselves. I wanted their presence to be sensed - felt. Their vitality comes from a combination of external and internal relationships - from the energy exchanged by shapes and contrasts of smoothly polished surfaces combined with rough organic surfaces contained in simple geometric shapes.
