Abstract
This thesis is a statement in a painting medium about man and his selection of visual experiences. The medium used in most paintings is oil. Oil paint was chosen because it was felt that the physical characteristics of oil paint and its application best corresponded to a natural and organic approach to painting both the organic form and the industrial form.
