Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find what was currently reported as being taught in the secondary curriculum in the area of home economics for boys, particularly in the state of Kansas, and other states of the United States. The survey method of research was used, employing the following materials and methods as tools for research: a review of periodical literature, questionnaires which were sent to state superintendents of public instruction and vocational home economic state department supervisors of the United States, and questionnaires which were given to college home economists and high school home economics teachers attending the Kansas Home Economics Association Conference at Topeka, Kansas. The information found in these survey questionnaires was compiled to show the indication of areas being taught in boys home economics.
