Abstract
The purpose of this study was threefold. First, to determine what mathematics is being taught at the twelfth grade level in Unified School Districts of Kansas. Second, to obtain the recommendations of mathematics teachers of Unified School Districts concerning what they believe should be taught at the twelfth grade level. Third, to compare the present mathematics programs and recommendations of mathematics teachers of Kansas to the recommendations made by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and by the United States Office of Education.
