Description
A black and white photo of a house at 603 Elm Street in Hays, Kansas. The two story house was the home for the George F. Sternberg family when he was the director and curator of the museum on the Fort Hays Kansas State Teachers College (now Fort Hays State University). The photo shows a front and left side view of the house. A brick and concrete divider separates part of the yard from the sidewalk and the yard to the left. Trees without their leaves are next to the divider. A garage is seen behind the house with a car parked next to it. Part of another house is in the background to the right. On the left side of the photo, a roof corner of a third house and an evergreen tree are seen.
