Description

This black and white photograph features George F. Sternberg working on C.H. Sternberg's Centrosaurus. Sternberg is standing next to the fossil and is wearing a lab coat. The fossil is on top of several blocks of wood. Machinery is seen in the background. Handwriting is below the photograph. This image is included in Charles H. Sternberg's book - "Hunting Dinosaurs in the Bad Lands of the Red Deer River, Alberta, Canada Figure 37." In the early 2000s, archivist Judy Salm worked with Dr. Phil Currie to identify this person, and it was labeled C.M. Sternberg.
