Description
This black and white photograph features George F. Sternberg putting irons on the Centrosaurus Crest. Sternberg is sitting on a chair with his back to the camera and is wearing a lab coat. The fossil is on top of several blocks of wood. Machinery is seen in the background. Handwriting is below the photograph. This image is included in Charles H. Sternberg's book - "Hunting Dinosaurs in the Bad Lands of the Red Deer River, Alberta, Canada Figure 36." In the early 2000s, archivist Judy Salm worked with Dr. Phil Currie to identify this person, and it was labeled C.M. Sternberg.
