Description
This black and white photograph features the team continuing its trek on the path. The trail that Sternberg's team is traveling up winds steeply from the bottom right of the photo to the upper right side of the photo. The tracks from the wagon are visible along this uphill path. The outcropping hills that line the right side of the path are weathered and have stratification in various shades of color. At the upper right of the photo, the team of men and horses is visible making their way up the path. One man is standing on the rock-filled wagon, another man is standing by the wagon on the left, and a third man is running alongside the team of four horses. Buttes are in the background. Handwriting is below the photograph.
