Artist's Statement
The Williams-Garcia bathroom was designed as a sophisticated, spa-like retreat that offers a cozy escape from their busy daily lives while balancing luxury and functionality. The space includes key features such as a dual-temperature shower, double vanities, a large walk-in closet, commode privacy, a built-in fridge for skincare and beverages, and warm towel access to elevate everyday routines. The layout was reconfigured by combining closet space to create a more efficient design, allowing for a spacious, open feel centered around relaxation and comfort. Highlights of the design include a custom double vanity with warm wood finishes, stone vessel sinks, and layered lighting, a freestanding tub positioned beneath a window for natural light and a soothing focal point, and a sleek glass-enclosed shower with dark stone walls and backlit niches. Functionality and elegance are further enhanced by features like a quiet walk-in closet, built-in shelves for necessities and décor, and a discreet water closet. Overall, the bathroom creates a cohesive and personalized sanctuary that reflects the couple’s needs while providing a tranquil space to unwind and recharge.
