Artist's Statement
This design re-imagines the kitchen as a vibrant biophilic maximalist hub centered on color, pattern, and social connection. Inspired by the clients’ expressive style, the palette blends bold botanical elements with warm textures, while orange plays a key role in promoting conversation, energy, and togetherness. Opening the kitchen to the dining area enhances flow for dual cooks and creates a striking focal point upon entry. A sculptural island with seating for four supports interactive cooking, while integrated storage and high-performance appliances meet functional needs. The result is a joyful, welcoming kitchen that balances creativity, comfort, and everyday usability.
