Artist's Statement
This piece is a visual collection of the things that shape who I am, told through objects instead of words. Each item represents a different part of my identity, coming together to form a story that is both personal and evolving. The passport reflects my love for travel and curiosity about the world, while the record and bold colors capture my energy, creativity, and appreciation for expression. The van symbolizes freedom and adventure, a desire to keep moving forward and experience life fully. Smaller details, like the perfume and patterns, hint at memories, growth, and the pieces of my past that I carry with me.
The composition is intentionally vibrant and layered, showing that I am not defined by just one thing, but by a mix of passions, experiences, and values. Even the background, built with repetitive texture, suggests time, effort, and the complexity beneath what people see at first glance. This artwork is not just a still life—it is a self-portrait made of meaning, where every object holds a piece of who I am and who I am becoming.
