Artist's Statement
These small dessert bowls are made to be shared, encouraging simple moments of connection between friends and family. Their size invites passing dishes around the table, taking a little more, and lingering in conversation. Each bowl is hand-formed and covered in an embossed, repeating surface inspired by organic, floral patterns, giving them a sense of movement and texture. The soft green glaze settles into the surface, bringing out variation while keeping the overall look calm and cohesive. They are meant to feel both functional and special. They serve as everyday objects that add a little intention to the act of sharing food and being together.
