Artist's Statement
The clay and wood in these mixed media platters come together in perfect harmony, creating a finish that feels both timeless and unique. Each piece balances the warmth of wood with the natural strength of clay, allowing the materials to enhance one another’s texture and tone. The dark wood stain complements the earthy, hand-painted surfaces, where olive branches symbolize peace, growth, and renewal. This set of three platters nests neatly together, each one slightly larger than the last for a balanced presentation. The removable wooden bases make storage simple, while each base is custom-fitted to its platter to preserve the handmade connection between form and function. Whether used for serving or display, these platters bring a quiet elegance and sense of calm to any setting
