Artist's Statement
Gathering of the Crows, a 3 colored layered photo lithography series (9/9). Both hand drawn layers, and photo references were printed onto aluminum plates that were coated in a light sensitive material. Which creates the imagery after exposure.
My narrative illustrates the profound internal conflicts of man vs. self but in a religious context. Capturing the chaos of what it feels like being "not holy enough," struggling with the guilt if everyday sins. Being at war within oneself.
