The United States and the Independence of Buenos Aires
Eugene R. Craine

Henry Miller: An Informal Biography 1924-1960
Esta Lou Riley
The compiler has called this work an informal bibliography for, as will be evident to the careful reader, many of the entries are not complete. It has been the intention of the compiler to make a bibliography which may be useful to the collector of Henry Miller's works and of that which has been written about him and his works. This has been done with the thought that even such slight information as is given may be helpful to someone searching for Henry Miller items.

San Martín: One Hundred Years of Historiography
Katharine Ferris Nutt
It is the opinion of this writer that the answer to the riddle of San Martín may better be sought in his relations with Lord Cochrane than in those with Simon Bolívar and the Quayaquil controversy, an avenue which historians have for years followed without arriving at any satisfactory conclusion. It is this writer's purpose to show that the misunderstandings regarding San Martín's character and his place in history stem from a very logical and comprehensible situation.

The Long-Run Supply Curve: Some Factors Affecting Its Shape
Eugene Darrel Pauley
Since so much importance is attached to the price mechanism in the economic system, it is only natural that a large body of economic theory is concerned primarily with explaining how prices are determined. This writer is concerned with only one rather small phase of this body of theory--some of the influences affecting long-run supply. We are interested here in the behavior of the seller or supplier of a commodity.

Bat Masterson; The Dodge City Years
George G. Thompson
Kansas has an unusual and a brilliant history. The men who lived within its boundaries when this history was being made, and who helped make it, are becoming older each year; historians and biographers have only a short time in which to secure their stories, which will, otherwise, go with them when they die. With this thought in mind, the author has selected the life of William Barclay Masterson, a colorful figure in the history of Dodge City, Kansas, for preservation.
