Description
A photograph of a watercolor painting by artist Mabel Vandiver, former chair of the Fort Hays State University Art Department. This piece shows a series of rocky hills and plateaus in the background, which travel down to a field of brown and green grass, indicating the change from summer into fall. Farther down the field, a small pond can be seen. The pond is covered by green moss ,and brown cattails are seen coming up from the water.
