A photograph of a watercolor painting by artist Mabel Vandiver, former chair of the Fort Hays State University Art Department. This piece shows a small pond surrounded by trees on each side as well as green brush at the front and back. Behind the pond is a classical ivory church topped with a bright red roof. Behind the church and in the distance are white and tan buildings of the town.
