Description

A photograph of a watercolor painting by artist Mabel Vandiver, former chair of the Fort Hays State University Art Department. This piece shows a countryside property, home to a red barn with a white house off in the background. Away from the house in the foreground spread three different fields. The first field to the far left is a plain but lush green plot of land. The second field in the middle displays a cotton field. The second field leads to the very bottom edge of the painting, showcasing some lambs in more detail. Finally, to the right is a field of tan grass and hay that is being eaten by a small herd of brown cows.
