Description

This black-and-white 8-page newsletter is a typed document about the Walker Army Air Base. This document is listed as Volume 1, Number 7, which was published on Friday, April 2, 1943. The Walker Air Base was located between Walker and Victoria, Kansas. At the top of the first page is a hand-drawn illustration reading "Walker Talker." At the top of the right-hand side of page 8 are the handwritten words, “Can You Answer These?” At the bottom of pages 1 and 6 are printed illustrations. The middle of pages 2 and 3 also has printed illustrations. At the top of page 6 is an edition of the comic Male Call, written and illustrated by Milton Caniff. The comic is comprised of 4 panels.
