Description
This color photograph of the St. Ann’s Catholic Church’s exterior was taken in 2003. This Volga German Building is made of limestone and located in Walker, Kansas. The picture is centered on the walkway to the church. Three trimmed evergreen shrubs line either side of the walkway. A white message board is in front of the left line of shrubs. Two large arched stained-glass windows are parallel to the edge of the building with the arched main wooden door between them. Above the door is a stained-glass window. On the front of the bell tower are two smaller arched windows, one above the other. A wooden louvered window is near the upper part of the tower. At the very top is a white spire with a cross at the top of the steeple. Larger leafy trees are on either side of the church.
