Description
A grayscale photograph of a group of people around the front of Picken Hall in the early 1900s to plant a tree. The group is standing in the grass. From their dress, the photograph was taken in the aughts (1900s) to 1910s. Most women in the photograph are wearing collared light-colored blouses with ankle-length dark skirts, but one young woman wears a light-colored dress. The men are all dressed in collared shirts, with most wearing suits or sport coats. One man wears a fedora. The women group together on the left side of the crowd, and the men group from the center to the right. The tree in the center of the group is young, with few leaves on its branches. An arched doorway and window to Picken Hall are on the left.
