Description
This black and white photograph features a group of people around the front of Picken Hall in the early 1900s to plant a tree. The group is standing in the grass. Most women in the picture are wearing collared light-colored blouses with ankle-length dark skirts, but one young woman wears a light-colored dress. The men are all dressed in collared shirts, most wearing suits or sports coats. One man wears a fedora. The women group on the left side of the crowd, and the men group from the center to the right. The tree in the group's center is young, with few leaves on its branches. An arched doorway and window to Picken Hall are on the left.
