Description

This black and white photograph features four students lounging on the quad in 1978. On the grass, three students are gathered in a group in the foreground. Two college students are sitting. The third person is a bearded man lying on the grass. He wears a wide-collared shirt and a wide leather belt and is cross-legged. He is writing in a notebook. Far away from the group is a man wearing a plaid shirt. This male student is sitting on the grass and leaning back against a tree. The student on the left wears pants, and the others wear jeans. The person sitting in the middle wears a striped flannel. There is an abstract sculpture in the middle. In the background are two cars and a van. Bushes and trees are on the left side of the photo. The trees cover the building on the left.
