Description

This black and white photograph features the 75th Anniversary Time Capsule Marker in front of Forsyth Library. The time capsule was placed on June 23, 1977, in honor of the 75th Anniversary of the University. The stone and time capsule were removed in 2002, and another time capsule was put together for the 100th anniversary. It is located in the big limestone Fort Hays State University sign at the entrance to the coliseum from the bypass. The 75th Anniversary time capsule is currently housed in the University Archives.
