Description
Estimated 1970s Fort Hays Kansas State College Band Camp Flute Sectional Photograph. The black and white photograph shows a group of young adults sitting under the curved staircase at the Memorial Union practicing with a female conductor pointing and holding a music sheet. Closest to the camera sit two individuals playing the flute, sharing a music stand. One has a shoulder-length shag haircut and wears a white short-sleeved T-shirt. The other wears a button-down long-sleeved shirt with dark pants. Their hair is at their shoulders. Next to them is a girl with wavy and dark shoulder length hair. They wear a sleeveless white blouse and light colored pants. The second-largest row has a mix of students playing or at rest. Closest to the camera is a person with long light colored hair. The woman conducting has long hair and is wearing a sleeveless shirt with slacks and sandals.
