Estimated 1970s Fort Hays Kansas State College Band Camp Practice Photograph. The black and white photo shows a gathering of teenage band students being conducted by an older man. Adolescents play in a concert band. Closest to the camera sits a girl in a striped sleeveless shirt who plays a flute. The rest of the row plays woodwind instruments. Large music folders extend above the metal music stands. The students sit on metal folding chairs, while the conductor stands on a raised platform.
