Description
The black-and-white photo shows an older woman removing a sheet from a portrait of former Fort Hays State President Clarence E. Rarick at the 1977 75th reception. The woman is wearing a striped dress with a black belt around the waist. She has silver-white hair in a bun. The woman is facing away from the camera, and she is bending down with a cloth sheet in her hands. Behind her is a wood-paneled wall and three portrait pictures in frames, each on a thin stand. The portrait directly behind the woman is a picture of President Clarence E. Rarick. The portrait in the middle is a picture of President William A. Lewis. The portrait farthest from the woman is a picture of President William S. Picken. Underneath the portraits are the sheets that were used to cover them before they were unveiled.
