Description

This black and white photograph features a woman standing in front of large framed headshots of Fort Hays State Presidents on easels at the 75th-anniversary reception. The woman is wearing a striped dress with a scarf and a black belt around the waist. She is wearing glasses and has a badge that says WELCOME. Underneath the badge is a ribbon that says FHSU 1902-1977. The woman is facing forward with her hands to her side. Behind her is a wood-paneled wall, and next to her are three headshots of presidents in frames, each on a thin stand. The closest headshot near the woman is a picture of President Gerald W. Tomanek. The middle headshot is a picture of President John W. Gustad. The picture the farthest away from the lady is a portrait of President Morton C. Cunningham. Underneath the framed headshots are the sheets that were used to cover them before the unveiling.
