Description
This black and white photograph features Anne Laughlin, a distinguished alum returning from Washing to D.C. to speak at a wooden lectern. She is wearing a matching two-piece tweed suit with three buttons and a dark stand-up collar. She is also wearing a bright-colored homecoming mum corsage on her left side. She is looking down and reading from a paper on the lectern. Two condenser microphones are placed on each corner of the lectern, angled toward the speaker. A reading light is also installed on the lectern. Cords run from both the light and two microphones away from the lectern. The background is primarily dark and consists of both dark and light-colored curtains.
